Along with the Cloud Camera 5000, D-Link also introduces the DCS-942L Enhanced Wireless N Day/Night Home Network Camera with 4x digital zoom for close-up viewing. It provides automatic day/night vision with 5M IR LEDs, capable to see up to 15 feet in pitch black. The IP camera supports WiFi 802.11n and has WPS button for quick and easy setup. As the camera is mydlink-enabled, users can easily see and hear your camera feed from anywhere via mydlink.com or via iOS and Android apps.
The DCS-942L records VGA 640X480 video at 30fps, using H.264 compression. It has enhanced motion detection with built-in PIR Sensor and is equipped with built-in mic and audio output for two-way audio. Motorola announced the MOTOLUXE, a slim Android smartphone heading to Greater China, Europe and Latin America markets. Actually, the device is just the same one as the Motorola XT615, which have been announced for Taiwan. The slim device boasts a 4-inch 480×854 touchscreen, a 8 Megapixel auto focus camera and a front-facing VGA camera.
The MOTOLUXE is boosted by a 800MHz processor and has 512MB of RAM and 1GB of ROM. It suports Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, DLNA, FM radio and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. The phone runs Android 2.3.7 Gingerbread OS and supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and 3G HSDPA mobile networks. The 1400mAh battery provides up to 6.5 hours of talk time and 19 days of standby time. At the 2012 International CES, Sony introduced the Xperia ion, its first LTE smartphone to be available in the US from AT&T in Q2 2012. Powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz MSM8260 processor, the new Xperia will be launching on Android 2.3 Gingerbread platform. As the brother of the new Xperia S, the ion sports a larger 4.6-inch HD Reality display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine with 1280×720 HD resolution, but lacks the transparent element at the base. The Xperia ion features a 12 Megapixel main camera with Sony Exmor R for mobile with Full HD 1080p video recording and a 1.3 Megapixel 720p front camera for video chat. It comes with 16GB internal storage and supports DLNA, BRAVIA Sync and HDMI. The Android device also include Fast Capture function that allows users to take shots very quickly directly from standby mode. Griffin introduces the Twenty audio amplifier, a device designed to turn existing non-powered speakers into AirPlay-enabled speaker, using an AirportExpress wireless base station. Simply plug the Airport Express into the Twenty, you can then stream music wirelessly from your iTunes music library or an AirPlay-enabled iPhone/iPod touch/iPad app. The Twenty Audio Amplifier uses your Airport Express to capture the AirPlay stream, decode it, then send the sound through your speakers. The Twenty sports a TI PurePath Class D stereo amplifier to drive two 20Wx2 and subwoofer output. Both models use LED light source offering up to 20,000 hours of lamp life. The MP220 uses Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) technology for superb image quality, while the MP410 is based on DLP technology. They both have built-in document viewer and media player for easy presentation without a laptop. ![]() 3M MP410 Mobile Projector The MP410 Mobile Projector is 3M’s first AC-powered mobile projector in a pint-sized package. It features 1280×768 WXGA resolution, 300 lumens of brightness, and is able to produce up to a 80-inch image. In addition to VGA, the MP410 offers HDMI input. It comes with 1GB onboard memory and a microSD card slot and there is USB port for file transfer. The projector measures 101 mm x 101 mm x 25mm and weighs 453 grams. Sony Ericsson (going to drop Ericsson) announced at the CES 2012 the new Xperia S, which according to the company is the “first smartphone from the new Xperia NXT series – next generation smartphones from Sony”. As the next flagship of the Xperia lineup, the new phone is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz MSM8260 processor with 1GB of RAM. The new Xperia’s transparent element at the base creates an iconic silhouette where the display is emphasized and underlined. In addition, it provides illumination effects and integrates the antenna components.
The Xperia S sports a 4.3-inch HD resolution 1280×720 Reality Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine. The display gets shatter proof sheet on scratch-resistant glass. It has a 12 Megapixel main camera with Sony Exmor R for mobile, 1080p Full HD video recording, face detection/recognition, auto focus, 3D sweep panorama and image stabilizer; and a 1.3 Megapixel 720p HD front camera. The Fastest Capture function allows users to take shots in just 1.5 seconds directly from standby mode. Other than HDMI and DLNA support, the phone also offers NFC (Near Field Communications) that works with SmartTags and BRAVIA Sync.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia S supports GPS/aGPS, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity as well as GLONASS. It comes with 32GB internal memory. The smartphone supports quad-band GSM/EDGE and quad-band UMTS HSPA 3.5G networks. Instead of replaceable battery, the phone gets built-in battery.
