Polaroid announced the Z340 Instant Digital Camera, which according to the company, reinvents instant photography for the digital age. The Z340 is a full-function 14 Megapixel digital camera with integrated ZINK printer to deliver instant 3×4-inch print using the ink-free Zero Ink Printing Technology. ZINK prints emerge fully developed and protected by a smudge-proof, water-resistant coating. The Polaroid Z340 has a 2.7-inch LCD for viewing photos taken and choose photos for printing. It rechargeable lithium-ion battery is enough for printing up to 25 photos and 75 captures. The instant camera include onboard editing functions allowing users to review, crop photos, even add borders to photos before printing. Kingston announced the SSDNow V200 series solid state drive with SATA III 6Gbps interface. According to the company, the new V200 is nearly twice as fast as the previous SSDNow V100 SSD and is 20% less in price than V100. The 2.5-inch drive is available in both 7.0mm (64GB/128GB) and 9.5mm (256GB) form factor to fit more systems. The SSDNow V200 offers up to 300MB/s read and 230MB/s write speeds with up to 36,000 IOPS Max random 4k read performance. The new SSD supports S.M.A.R.T. for monitoring status of the drive and TRIM command for maximum performance. The V200 is available standalone or as bundle kit that includes the SSD, cloning software, DVD with step-by-step installation video, cables (SATA data and power), and 3.5″ hard-drive mounting brackets and hardware.

The LUMIX GX1, like other LUMIX G models, use Contrast AF for its focus system that achieves higher accuracy compare to Phase difference system AF, especially when shooting with a bright lens with small F value. The camera features high-speed Light Speed AF, meaning it can auto focus in just 0.09 second; new Level Gauge, which lets the camera detect the horizontal/vertical angle of view with its internal level working with the sensor; One Push AE that adjusts exposure with a single press of the “Fn” (Function) button when it is over/under exposed; Dust Reduction System helps to eliminate dust or foreign matter getting inside the LUMIX GX1 when lenses are being changed; and of course the iA and iA Plus modes for beginners.
The Panasonic GX1 supports Full HD 1920×1080/60i video at 30fps in AVCHD format. It features high-quality sound, recorded with Dolby Digital Stereo Creator. Panasonic introduces its first true 3D digital camera, the LUMIX DMC-3D1 with two newly-developed lens units with folded optics design. With a compact body, the camera sports a twin-lens design, featuring 25mm wide angle lenses with 4x optical zoom, to capture 3D and 2D photos and videos.
Equipped with 12 Megapixel High Sensitivity MOS sensor, the 3D1 is able to capture 8 Megapixel 3D photos, 12 Megapixel 2D photos as well 1920×1080 60i high quality 3D HD video using side-by-side method, and Full HD 2D videos. It sports Venus Engine for high-quality images and easily process image sensitivity and speed. The 3D camera includes Multi-process Noise Reduction that applies optimal noise reduction according to the brightness of different areas of an image, iA (Intelligent Auto) mode that offers MEGA O.I.S, AF Tracking, Intelligent Scene Selector, Face Recognition and Intelligent ISO Control, Intelligent Exposure and Intelligent Handheld Nightshot.
Panasonic’s 3D1 boasts extremely fast consecutive shots at 8 fps (without auto focusing) and 4 fps (with auto focusing) in full resolution. It records Full HD video in AVCHD or MP4 formats.
