| Samsung SyncMaster S27A950D 3D LED Display heading to Europe Posted: 11 Jul 2011 03:32 AM PDT Samsung is launching in Europe its 27-inch SyncMaster S27A950D 3D-capable LED-backlit LCD monitor. Featuring Full HD 1920×1080 resolution, the S27A950D has LED-backlight, 300cd/m2 brightness, 5,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio and 120Hz refresh rate. The Samsung S27A950D is equipped with 3D HyperReal Engine to deliver 3D images. It measures just 11.4mm thick. You can find DVI-D, HDMI and DisplayPort input connectors. MSI launches the FX620DX notebook powered by Intel’s Sandy Bridge platform, which is called by MSI as the “super car of laptops”. The 15.6-inch laptop features checkered flag exterior with scratch-proof technology and anti-fingerprint coating. FX620DX is powered by choices of Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors, with up to 8GB of RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GT540M 3D graphics card with 1GB video memory.
MSI’s new laptop has a 15.6-inch 1920×1080 Full HD display and four theater class speakers with THX TruStudio Pro. The FX620DX comes with up to a 750GB hard drive and either a DVD SuperMulti or Blu-ray drive. It supports Bluetooth, WiFi 802.11b/g/n and provides two USB 3.0 ports and two USB 2.0 ports. You can also find a HD webcam, HDMI output, a 5-in-1 card reader and chiclet keyboard and a multitouch touchpad. Onkyo releases its new BD-SP809, a THX Certified Blu-ray player with support for 3D Blu-ray Disc. To deliver superb image quality, the BD-SP809 is equipped with Qdeo technology from Marvell to ensure pristine deinterlacing, noise-reduction, and 1080p upscaling. It supports DTS-HD Master Audio and Dolby TrueHD high-definition audio formats, and has a high-precision clock and a construction design that incorporates separate blocks for video/audio circuitry and a vibration-reducing top cover to preserver the integrity of these lossless formats. The Onkyo BD-SP809 has been THX certified in recognition of its superior build quality, versatile functionality, and high performance levels. Other than Blu-ray Discs and 3D Blu-ray Discs, the player also plays DVD and CD discs including those encoded with popular compressed formats such as DivX HD, MP3, and WMA. It supports DLNA 1.5 and has a USB port for direct media playback from USB storage devices. The Onkyo BD-SP809 also includes video-on-demand capabilities allowing consumers to stream movies and TV shows directly to their TVs in HD- or SD-quality video through the Netflix, Blockbuster, Film Fresh, and VUDU services.
