The fascinating sparkling of white diamonds and Swarovski crystals is highlighted by soft glow of natural Antillian mother-of-pearl La burgaudine. Also the rear panel of the phone is framed in solid diamond-coated mineral glass.

The Lady Blanche Diamonds is priced at $30,000 and is available with advanced order. There are 150 units of Lady Blanche Crystals and each costs $7,000.

Westinghouse launches two LED-backlit HDTVs, the 26-inch LD-2680 and 42-inch LD-4258, with SRS TruSurround HD audio solution. Both models feature 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, Edge-Lit LCD Technology and 176/176-degree viewing angle. The LD-2680 has a 100,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio while the latter has 4000:1 typical contrast.

The LD-2680 and LD-4258 both include Progressive Scan, 3D Noise Reduction, De-interlacing, 3D Adaptive Comb Filter. The LD-4258 adds 120Hz refresh rate. They offer two HDMI inputs as well as D-sub, component, composite inputs.

Acer TravelMate 8481 Notebook Launched in the UK

Acer releases in the UK its TravelMate 8481 lightweight notebook with a super-slim, frameless display. The 14-inch laptop is powered by 2nd generation Intel Core series Sandy Bridge processors with up to 8GB of DDR3 RAM and integrated Intel HD 3000 graphics. Dedicated NVIDIA graphics card with Optimus technology is available as option.

The TravelMate 8481 has a 14-inch 1366×768 LED-backlit LCD display. It comes with a 320GB hard drive or a 64GB SSD for storage. The notebook supports WiFi and Gigabit Ehternet connectivity and sports fingerprint reader, multi-in-one card reader, and USB 3.0 ports. It has a ultra slim design measuring just 2.2 cm at its highest point and weighs only 1.5kg.
