Verizon Motorola DROID RAZR Ultra Slim Android Smartphone Posted: 21 Oct 2011 10:14 AM PDT   Motorola brings a new life to the RAZR line, introducing the DROID RAZR ultra slim Android smartphone. The new RAZR features a lightweight and slim form factor, boasting a gorgeous sculpted glass face, diamond-cut aluminum accents. According to Motorola, every part of DROID RAZR is protected by a splash-guard coating – even the electrical boards inside. The phone measures just 7.1mm and weighs 127g. The Motorola DROID RAZR is powered a a dual-core 1.2GHz processor with 1GB of RAM and 16GB ROM. There is also a 16GB microSD card preinstalled. The phone comes with a 4.3-inch 540×960 Super AMOLED Advanced touchscreen with KEVLAR fiber and Corning Gorilla Glass to help the screen stand up to scratches and scrapes; a 8 Megapixel camera with LED flash, a 1.3 Megapixel front camera as well as Bluetooth 4.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. In addition to GPS/aGPS, the RAZR supports also GLONASS. The ultra slim Android phone offers also support for DLNA and HDMI output. Its 1780mAh battery provides up to 12.5 hours of talk time. The DROID RAZR runs Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread OS. Motorola ADMIRAL Android Smartphone with Sprint Direct Connect Posted: 21 Oct 2011 09:43 AM PDT       Motorola and Sprint introduce the ADMIRAL, the first Android smartphone with Sprint Direct Connect. The ADMIRAL is a bar-type device with QWERTY keyboard for easy text input. It is powered by 1.2GHz processor and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. It use the Sprint 3G (EVDO Rev. A) network to provide the gold-standard push-to-talk capabilities of Sprint Direct Connect. The Motorola ADMIRAL comes with a 5 Megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording and flash. It has 4GB internal memory and a microSD card slot. With WiFi 802.11b/g/n support, the ADMIRAL includes 3G mobile hotspot capability for sharing 3G connection to up to five WiFi devices. It comes pre-loaded with Adobe Flash Player and Quickoffice.
