| Thecus N8900V High-value 8-Bay NAS Posted: 09 Dec 2011 02:17 AM PST To bring business and personal storage and computing needs while staying within your budget, Thecus introduces the new N8900V high-value 8-bay NAS storage solution. Powered by Intel’s Pentium G620 2.6GHz processor and 2GB of RAM, the N8900V is capable of multitasking smoothly, balancing activities such as data transfer, web serving, and RAID building without any delays or slowdowns in service. Equipped with LSI 2008 HBA SATA/SAS controller, the Thecus N8900V has eight drive bays supporting up to 24TB capacity. It supports 6G SAS/SATA III and offers an eSATA and USB ports (six USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0) for external storage devices. The NAS supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 and JBOD modes and hot-swap. It provides two spare PCI-e x8, one PCI-e x4 slots for expansion. There is three RJ-45 Ethernet LAN ports, thanks to Intel 82574L 10/100/1000 BASE-TX Auto MDI/MDI-X. The Thecus N8900V comes with built-in FTP/SFTP server, printer server, Download Managet supporting BT/FTP/HTTP downloads, iTunes Server, uPnP media server, Piczza Web Server. InFocus expands its IN5300 series introducing the new N5316HD and IN5318 Full HD installation projectors with a new compact form factor. The IN5300 series offers complete installation flexibility and is ideal for large conference rooms, classrooms and medium sized venues.
Powered by DLP technology, the former features 1920x1080p Full HD resolution while the latter delivers WUXGA 1920×1200 resolution. They have 2000:1 contrast ratio, up to 4000 lumens of brightness. They provides DVI, VGA, HDMI, DisplayPort as well as Composite, S-video, Component inputs. There are also Ethernet LAN port, and 12V/200ma screen trigger and RS232 connector. China Mobile is getting its own version of Motorola RAZR, the MT917 that supports the carrier’s TD-SCDMA 3G network. The phone is powered by a dual-core 1.2Ghz processor with 1GB of RAM, and will be loaded with Android 2.3 operating system. It comes with a large 4.5-inch 1280×720 touchscreen with a 330 ppi resolution protected by scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass.
The MT917 has a 13 Megapixel main camera with 1080p Full HD video recording and a front camera for video chat. The Chinese RAZR measures just 8.5mm and protected by KEVLAR fiber, a zinc frame and splash guard coating inside and out. China Mobile will release the Motorola MT917 in mid-December. As you may know, the other two versions of RAZR for China market is the XT928 for China Telecom‘s CDMA network, and the XT615 for GSM/WCDMA network.
