Christie is now shipping two new 3LCD projectors, the LX1200 with 12,000 lumens brightness and the Full HD 1080p LHD700. Both models are based on 3LCD display technology and are equipped with inorganic LCD panels to create a natural black and smoothest imaging.  Christie LX1200 The Christie LX1200 features 1024×768 XGA resolution, 12,000 lumens brightness, 4000:1 contrast ratio. Its Dual 330W Ushio NSHA lamps offers up to 3000 hours lamp life in eco mode. The LHD700, on the other hand, delivers Full HD 1920x1080p resolution with 7000 ANSI lumens brightness and 3000:1 contrast ratio. It comes with a 380W NSHA lamp with 3000 hours of lamp life in eco mode. The two projectors both include 4DColor technology for life-like color performance, and AutoFilter that offers 10,000 hours of maintenance-free operation. The LHD700 also comes with Crestron’s RoomView and AMX Discovery Device that make it easy and quick to configure third-party equipment with this projector. Hitachi introduces the new Deskstar 5K4000 internal hard drive and Touro Desk external hard drive, which are the industry’s highest capacity 4TB storage solutions. The former is a 3.5-inch 4TB hard drive with CoolSpin technology, while the latter is an external hard drive housing a 4TB Deskstar 5K4000.
The 4TB Deskstar 5K4000 features a 32MB cache buffer and uses SATA 6Gbps for enhanced power efficiency and performance. With CoolSpin technology and Hitachi’s other power management technologies, the 4TB drive has up to a 28 percent idle power savings over Deskstar 7K3000 7,200 RPM drives and an idle acoustic level of only 2.5 bels. The 5k4000 uses Advanced Format which increases the sector size on HDD from 512 bytes to 4096 (4K) bytes, thereby increasing capacities and improving error correcting capabilities. The 4TB drive comes as a $399.99 Retail Kit that includes the Hitachi GPT Disk Manager to overcome the 2.2TB limitation of Windows systems. The Hitachi Touro Desk 4TB is basically a 4TB Deskstar 5K4000 with a USB 3.0 enclsoure providing plug and play simplicity. Motorola Solutions announced its new MC2100 series mobile computer to address the need for a smaller, rugged mobile computer, expanding the range of solutions available for both large enterprises and small- and medium-sized businesses. With a lightweight and ergonomic design, the MC2100 is ideal for inventory management, stock replenishment, price marking, and shelf labeling. The device is optimized for on-hand use with sculpted finger perch on the back to users a secure hold. The MC2100 Series is powered by Marvell PXZ320 624MHz CPU with 128MB RAM and 256MB of ROM. It runs Microsoft Embedded CE 6.0 operating system. The mobile computer features a 2.8-inch QVGA LCD display with optional resistive touch panel, 27-key numeric keypad, microSD/SDHC card slot, LED and audible alert for notification. Motorola brings the FIRE XT, a budget-friendly Android smartphone to Poland. With a compact, slim form factor, the new phone has a 3.5-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera with flash and a front-facing camera for video call. It is boosted by a 800MHz processor with 512MB RAM and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with MOTO Switch UI that allows users to shift to different modes.
