LG Optimus Glare E510 Entry-level Android Phone Posted: 15 Dec 2011 01:19 AM PST LG is launching in China market a new entry-level Android smartphone, the Optimus Glar E510. Boosted by 800MHz single core processor and 512MB of RAM, the phone runs Android 2.3.4 with LG’s custom UI. The E510 has a 3.5-inch 320×480 touchscreen and a 5 Megapixel auto focus camera. There are no LED flash and front camera, though.   The Optimus Glare E510 measures 11.99mm and comes in black and white. It has a 1500mAh battery. The price is around RMB2000 (US$314). Cisco Linksys E4200 v2 Maximum Performance Dual-Band N900 Wireless Router Posted: 14 Dec 2011 10:26 PM PST     Cisco updates its Linksys E4200 router, introducing the E4200 v2 wireless N router. Dubbed as Maximum Performance Dual-Band N900 router, the new version of E4200 features 3X3 spatial streams on both the 2.4Ghz and 5GHz band for faster wireless speeds up to 450 Mbps in each band, delivering a wireless performance of up to a total of 900Mbps. With dual-band support, network bandwidth is doubled to avoid interference and maximize throughput for smoother and faster HD video streaming, file transfers, and wireless gaming.   The E4200 v2 comes with internal and external amplifiers, which coupled with six antennas help increase the signal strength across greater distances, providing improved home network coverage and reducing dead spots. The router offers four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports and has built-in USB port for sharing USB storage device over the network. It is also equipped with a faster 1.2Ghz processor for quicker downloads from a USB connected storage drive, and offers greater range for use in large or multi-room homes.
