Sanyo is targeting a new range of customers this time. The newly launched Xacti VPC-CA102YL waterproof camcorder is for those who would die behind the cool looks. The new Sanyo HD waterproof camcorder has totally different design which ‘can’ be termed as sexy for one class of customers.
The new dual camera will record your videos in full HD resolution storing video worth 480 minutes. The 64 GB SDXC memory card is capable enough for HD recording as well as still photos that are of 14 mega pixel. So what was exciting up til now? Well, how about recording the same stuff once you are 10 feet under water?The Xacti VPC-CA102YL is capable of bearing water levels up to 10 feet. Though 10 feet isn’t that deep a number yet you can be rest assured that it won’t face any issues in heavy rains. Go on and shoot!
As of now Sanyo offers only one color for you to choose and that is yellow. To an extent we think that yellow is the best color for such a device as you might end up losing it as you surely will be carrying it into not-so-cool conditions. Sanyo’s Xacti VPC-CA102YL should be hitting the market this month itself and will be tagged for around $249.99. Not bad for a camcorder that will record in the rain and while you’re diving.
This camcorder also boasts of 38 mm wide angle lens with 5x optical zoom and 12x double range zoom. It also has wireless data transfer which uses the Eye – Fi SD cards. The 2.7 inches TFT LCD screen can be turned to 285 degrees which is just awesome
