Evolio Neura Android Tablet, NOT the Most Powerful

Check out this new tablet from a company called Evolio dubbed the Neura. The tablet runs the Android operating system and someone was a bit boastful with the page for the tablet. The page claims that the Neura is the most powerful Android tablet. All I see is the same old basic hardware that almost all the tablets out there use right now.

Awesome Chrome Niko Camera Bag Surfaces

I use a Nikon D80 DSLR when I travel and I have a very nice camera bag to keep the thing safe in transit. The only thing that bothers me about my camera bag is that it has no room for the charger or another battery let alone a pen or anything else inside. If you travel with a DSLR and want a nice bag with room for the camera and lenses along with more of your junk, the Chrome Niko might be perfect.

Sony Launches One Piece Water Resistant Walkman

Sony has this week unveiled it new line of one piece water resistant Walkman’s which have been specifically designed for the sport enthusiast. The new Sony Walkman NWZ-W260 comes with its own content transfer software which allows you to upload music and audio via drag and drop just like an additional hard drive.

Google Maps Now Provides Live Traffic Reports In 13 More European Countries

Google has released a new update for their Google Maps service which has brought with it live traffic information for another 13 European Countries. The new update now also allows users within these newly added countries to benefit from the the services feature which can now direct you around possible congestion within the beta version of Google Maps Navigation, the internet-connected GPS navigation system with voice guidance for smartphones.

Facebook For Android Gets Updated

Facebook has released a new version of Facebook for Android, the latest version is Facebook 1.6.1, and it brings a range of new features to Facebook for Android as well as some bug fixes.

Netflix Arrives On Nintendo’s 3DS Console

Netflix has today arrived on Nintendo’s 3DS console now enabling 3DS owners to watch TV shows directly from their consoles. Currently the Netflix service is only a 2D affair and the new application is available from today as a free download from Nintendo’s eShop. To use the new service all users require is a 3DS console, Wi-Fi connection and of course a Netflix streaming subscription.

Leaked: First Image Of Sony’s New NEX-7 Camera?

A new image has been uncovered that could be the first glimpse of Sony’s new NEX-7 digital camera currently under development. The image below has been posted by the Sony Alpha Rumours website and was obtained through a close source.

The image is thought to be a preproduction photograph, so the final NEX-7 camera might look a little different once launched. Its thought that the new NEX-7 will be equipped with a 3-million dot OLED electronic viewfinder and use the same 24 megapixel sensor that Sony used inside their A77 camera.

Spotify Now Available In The US, Premium Version Costs $9.99 A Month

Spotify has now officially launched its music streaming service in the US, and you can now sign up to the music streaming service, there are three different types of accounts available, one free and two subscription based.

The free account is supported by adverts, whilst the premium account will cost you $9.99 a month, and the unlimited account will cost you $4.99 a month, the free service will only let you stream music to your computer, and it is compatible with both Windows PCs and Mac OS X computers, the amount of tracks you can stream is limited.

Google+ Adds New User Privacy Options, Google Execs And Zuckerberg Immediately Disappear

With Google’s new social network service Google+ still in its beta development and invitation only stage new features are being daily to the service. Todays update brings with it new privacy options which allows you to now hide your Google+ account from prying eyes and the Google Exec, and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg seemed to have wasted no time pressing the button.

A few days ago viewing the list of top heavy weight users within Google+ listed Zuckerberg at number one, with the most number of followers, even more than the Google Exec’s Sergey Brin and CEO Larry Page. Now unfortunately all parties are now absent from the list and wasted no time implementing the new privacy feature.

Spotify iPhone App Hits US iTunes Store

Spotify announced earlier today that their music streaming service would launch in the US later today, and whilst we are waiting for the official announcement it looks like the Spotify app for the iPhone and iPod Touch is now available in the US iTunes store.

The Spotify app for the iPhone and iPod Touch will let you stream millions of music tracks direct to your iOS devices, and the app has been available in Europe for a while now, and has just hit the US iTunes store today.

World’s First Turbine Powered Batmobile (Video)

Aperture 3 Updated With Improved Gesture Controls

Apple has rolled out a new update today for its photographic management software Aperture 3 which has brought with it improvements to the packages support for gesture controls, together with tweaks to improve its overall stability and performance.

The new multi-touch gesture updates included added support rotating images in the viewer, the ability to now resize the cropping rectangle when using the crop tool, and the ability to now enable or disable the gesture support within the software from the preferences panel.

WINGStand iOS Tablet And Device Stand Concept (video)

An interesting new iPad stand concept called WINGStand is currently trying to make the jump from concept to production over on the Kickstarter website, and has already raised 60 percent of their needed pledge to start the ball rolling.

The WINGStand concept has been designed and developed by Daniel Haarburger a design oriented entrepreneur studying at Stanford University. Who had the idea while studying and created the adaptable stand to work with a wireless Apple keyboard. Microsoft Planning 75 New Retail Stores Over The Next 3 Years

Microsoft is now taking a u-turn on its decision not to go the brick-and-mortar retail store route nearly a decade ago and is now planning to hit the high street again with 75 new retail stores across America over the next 3 years.

The announcement was made at Microsoft’s 2011 Worldwide Partner Conference this week in Los Angeles. With Microsoft explaining that having stores provides the company with a great insight in their consumers needs and requirements. The 75 retail stores will join Microsoft’s existing chain of 11 retail stores which have been built over the last two years.

Sony Wall Mounted CMT-CX5 Audio System And iPhone Dock

Sony has added a new audio system to their range in the form of the Sony CMT-CX5, which is a wall mounted system that includes an iPhone, iPod dock, CD player and DAB/DAB+/FM radio. Its also equipped with USB connectivity allowing you to attach and play audio from an external hard drive, or flash drive if required.

The CMT-CX5 is also fitted with Sony’s Dynamic Sound Generator Xtra (DSGX) technology and will be available in either black or white (shown below) when launched next month.

Amazon’s Android Tablet Coming In October

We know that Amazon has an Android tablet in the works, although we are yet to hear anything official from Amazon, the last thing we heard was that Amazon would launch their Android tablet at the end of the summer, with a rumored launch date of the end of August or the start of September.

Now according to a recent report by the Wall Street Journal, Amazon will launch their Android tablet in October, and Amazon will be looking to take on the iPad and also Android tablets from a range of manufacturers.

Nuance Launches Next-Generation Voice App, Dragon Go! For iPhone

Nuance have just announced the launch of their new free voice recognition search app Dragon Go! on to the iPhone, which Nuance say is a next-generation voice searching application. The Dragon Go! voice app allows you to speak to your phone and ask it to search for phrases as you would while surfing the web using a keyboard, and you can even ask it to start playing music via applications all ready installed on your iPhone such as Pandora.

Motorola Photon 4G Hits Sprint July 31st

Some of our reader will remember the new Motorola Photon 4G that was announced back in June, when the Photon 4G was announced we were told it would be available on Sprint some time in quarter three.

Sprint has now confirmed an official launch date for the Motorola Photon 4G, and it will be available in the US from the 31st of July 2011, and will cost $200 when you sign up to a new two year contract with Sprint.

Apple Increases UK And International App Store Prices

Apple has increased the prices of its iOS App store in the UK, previously the minimum price of an application was £0.59, this has now been increased to £0.69, this compares to the US pricing of $0.99 as the minimum price of an application.

The new £0.69 price works out at $1.11 based on today’s exchange rate and we suspect UK iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch customers will be less than pleased about this recent change.

Twitter For Android Gets Updated

Twitter has updated the official Twitter App for Android, and the latest version comes with a range of new features, which include update home screen widgets, plus a wide range of bug fixes.

The major new feature in Twitter for Android is push notifications, which will let you instantly receive Twitter updates on your Android smartphone, and you can choose to receive direct message updates and @mention updates.

iPhone 5 To Launch 16th of August?

We are expecting Apple to announce the iPhone 5 in September, but now it seems that it may actually launch a little earlier than we had thought, according to the guys over at CNET UK.

The guys from CNET have spotted a job listing for Apple in the UK, and the job listing is looking for ‘full time iPhone sales staff’, who will work for the company from the 16th of August 2011 to the 29th of August 2011.

Spotify Launches In The US Today

We have been hearing rumors over the last few weeks that Spotify was getting ready to launch in the US, we just got an email from Spotify to let us know that their music streaming service will officially launch in the US from today, Thursday the 14th of July.

Spotify didn’t give us any details on the US version of their music streaming service, so we have no details on how much it will cost, and whether a free version will be available, you can see the full details we received below.
