LG Cinema 3D DX2000 Glasses-free 3D Display with Eye-tracking Technology

LG introduces in Korea its new Cinema 3D DX2000 LCD display that utilizes eye-tracking technology to deliver glasses-free 3D images. The monitor has an integrated webcam on its bezel, which does real-time tracking of viewers’ eye position and then images will be adjusted to provide optimal 3D images, no matter which angle viewer look from.

The 20-inch LG DX2000 features 1600×900 resolution, LED backlight, 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness and 5ms response time. It comes with an anti-glare coating and offers DVI and HDMI inputs. The Cinema 3D DX2000 costs 1.2 Million Korean Won.

USRobotics launches the new USR8420 all-in-one USB 3.0 memory card reader with dual SD/SDHC/SDXC card slots. The reader uses USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface for 10 times faster transfer speed than USB 2.0. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 ports.

The USRobotics USR8420 offers one SD/SDHC/SDXC/MMC slot, one CompactFlash/MicroDrive slot, one Memory Stick slot and a slot that supports SD, MMC and Memory Stick cards, allowing two cards of the same type to be accessed at the same time. The reader supports all new card formats including SDHC with UHS, CF with UDMA, SDXC, and MSXC cards.

AT&T Pantech Pursuit II Brew MP  QWERTY Feature Phone

AT&T is going to release the new feature phone based on Brew Mobile Platform (Brew MP), the Pantech Pursuit II with sliding QWERTY keyboard, follow-up to the Pursuit. The compact phone features a 2.8-inch 240×320 QVGA touchscreen, a vertical slide QWERTY keyboard for quick messaging, a 2 Megapixel camera with video recording, and a microSD/SDHC card slot.

The Pantech Pursuit II is powered by a Qualcomm QSC6270 ARM9/230MHz processor and runs Brew MP 1.0.2. It offers up to 3 hours of talk time and 250 hours standby time.  Available in pink and green, the Pursuit II is priced at $49.99 with a 2-year contract after $50 mail-in rebate.

iRiver is launching its Story HD e-book reader in the US market exclusively via Target. The Korean company’s new reader is the first device to be fully integrated with Google eBooks platform offering more than three million ebooks at no cost and thousands of additional titles for sale.

The Story HD features a 6-inch 768×1024 e-ink display offering 63.8 percent more pixels than other e-readers, a QWERTY keyboard, SD card slot, and USB 2.0 connector. It is powered by a Cortex A8 chipset. The e-reader has a sleek, signature style and a curve with two-tone colors at the front and back for easy grip and slim design.
