Super Talent expands its TeraDrive line with the new CT3 series consumed focused SATA solid state drives that sits between the PT3 and CT2. The CT3 uses asynchronous NAND Flash memory and is equipped with SandForce SF-2200 SSD processor and SATA III interface to deliver optimized performance. You can think of the new TeraDrive CT3 as the PT3 with asynchronous Flash or the as the CT2 with a SATA III interface; either way the CT3 is a perfect combination for price and performance.
The TeraDrive CT3 offers up to 550MB/s read and 520MB/s write speeds. It supports TRIM and Garbage Collection to ensure maximum performance over the life of the drive. The CT3 comes in 64GB, 120GB, 240GB and 480GB capacities.

Sony introduces the HD-PG5 USB 3.0 external hard drive that are compatible with Sony’s products. The drive can connects to BRAVIA HDTVs via USB for direct recording of HD television programmes from the TV's tuner or connected cable/satellite service, and allows users to do PC-free transfers of video footage from compatible Handycam camcorders with Direct Copy function, including the new DCR-SX21E and DCR-SR21. The 2.5-inch Sony HD-PG5 uses USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface and has 500GB capacity. It comes with Password Protection Manager software thta uses powerful 256-bit security to safeguard your files against unauthorised access. Bowers & Wilkins announced its new C5 in-ear noise-isolating headphones, which is to “bring the option of amazing clarity of sound, innovative design, and high quality materials for the discerning customer who demands premium peformance from in-ear headphones. The C5 features the adjustable Secure Loop design that keeps it comfortably in place, and aids fit and performance.
The headphones’ Micro Porous Filter acts as a diffuser, enabling C5 to deliver pristine, natural audio, while also providing a more spacious performance than previously possible from in-ear headphones. The Filter also limits noise bleed and together with the noise-isolating properties of the sealed fit, allowing users to enjoy flawless audio. The C5 has Tungsten Balanced design, where high-mass material is located closer to the user’s ear, for an improved seal for better sound and noise isolation. It is crafted from high-grade aluminium for a premium-quality finish. The Bowers & Wilkins C5 has in-line Made for iPod, iPhone, iPad remote and microphone, making it iOS device friendly. Klipsch is going to release this Full its Mode, an on-ear active noise-cancelling headphones. The Mode features high-grade leather cups to surround your listening experience with comfort. It packs 40mm woofers to provide deep bass and dynamic midrange and 15mm tweeters to bring clean highs.
The Klipsch Mode comes with two detachable, Hi-Fi inspired cables that fit any device with a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The headphones’ active noise-cancelling lasts for up to 45 hours on a single battery charge. It can also be used as a stereo headphone without battery. Coming in Fall, the Klipsch Mode will be priced at $350.

Sony introduces in Europe two new standard definition digital camcorders, the Handycam SX21E and Handycam SR21E. Both camcorders are equipped with a 57x Optical Zoom lens by Sony and offer a powerful 67x Extended Zoom range. They have a flip-out 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD and built-in LED video light to illuminate indoor scenes or night-time shots.
The DCR-SX21E and DCR-SR21E feature SteadyShot, Face Detection, Intelligent AUTO mode that recognizes up to 18 different scene combination. They both support Memory Stick PRO Duo, and SD/SDHC memory cards, and the DCR-SR21E adds an internal 80GB hard drive. Sony is going to release these two Handycam camcorders in September.
