Plantronics introduces its new Voyager Pro HD headset for the busy professionals on the go. The new headset features the Smart Sensor technology that automatically transfers calls to your headset when you wear it. The Voyager Pro HD features Vocalyst Voice and Text Services so you can send and listen to email or text messages, post to Facebook and Twitter, or check the weather―hands-free.

Plantronics’s new headset also includes noise cancellation, and three layers of wind noise reduction technology to ensure that your voice is heard clearly regardless of the sort of environment you’re in. It supports wireless high-definition music streaming as well.

Voyager PRO HD also has a locking call mechanism when it is not worn to eliminate accidental calling, and you can answer incoming calls simply by putting the headset on your ear – no buttons to press, applications to open or voice commands required. And if you are listening to music or other audio taking off the headset will automatically pause the stream.

ADATA XM13 Series mSATA SSD

ADATA ships the XM13 series mSATA solid state drive powered by SandForce’s SF-1200 SSD controller. With mSATA form factor, ADATA promisess speeds comparable to bigger SSDs in 2.5-inch form factor. The XM13 is based on 25nm MLC NAND flash and is available in 30GB and 60GB capacities.

The ADATA XM14 offers up to 280MB/s read and 260MB/s write speeds and 12,500 IOPS random read/write throughput. 30GB model will be priced at $70-80 and 60GB ar $125-135.

Patriot Memory Pyro SE Solid State Drive

Patriot Memory introduces the new Pyro SE series solid state drive as the follow-up to the Pyro series. The new Pyro SE is powered by SandForce SF-2281 SSD controller and uses SATA III 6Gbps interface for enhanced performance.

Patriot Memory’s new SSD offers up to 550MB/s read and 520MB/s write speeds with a maximum 85,000 IOPS 4k random write. The Pyro SE supports TRIM command and includes DuraClass and DuraWrite technologies for extended endurance, Intelligent Block Management and Wear Leveling, Intelligent Read Disturb Management as well as Intelligent Data Retention optimization and Intelligent “Recycling” for advance free space management (Garbage Collection). You can also find RAISE (Redundant Array of Independent Silicon Elements) and built-in ECC protection.

The 2.5-inch SSD is available in 60GB, 120GB and 240GB capacities. Models:

Verizon Wireless introduces the Samsung Stratosphere, the first 4G LTE smartphone to have QWERTY keyboard for easy and quick text input. The Stratosphere is an Android 2.3 phone powered by Samsung’s 1GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird processor. It comes with a 4-inch Super AMOLED touchscreen and five-row QWERTY keyboard.
