Russound introduces the AirGo Outdoor Sound Station, a portable speaker dock for use with Apple AirPort Express. The AirGo is weather resistant so it can be placed outside on a deck, on a lawn, in the driveway or anywhere a listener wants to hear great sounding music. With the AirPort Express and AirPlay, you can stream music wirelessly from an iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Mac or PC. Before you can enjoy music, you have to configure the AirPort express and install it into the AirGo Outdoor’s protective pocket before plugging it into an outlet. It is equipped with internal stereo speaker and specially designed power amplifier to deliver wide, detailed sound stage. Synology introudces the new DiskStation DS212j 2-bay NAS server for small office and home use. The budger-friendly server is a file storag and sharing solution with low power consumption and running on DiskStation Manager (DSM) operating system to delivers ease of use and a variety of features. For home users, the DS212j is an ideal media server that work seamlessly with iPhone, iPad, and Android phone, letting users to stay in touch with their stored digital content on-the-go.
The DiskStation DS212j is powered by a 1.2GHz processor with 256MB of RAM. It has one Gigabit LAN port and two USB ports. The unit include DLNA Media Server for streaming media files to TV, gaming console and portable devices, and iTunes Server for easy music sharing. Its Download Station functions as a 24×7 BT, FTP, HTTP, eMule, and NZB download center without a PC. The included Synology Data Replicator allows Windows PC users to backup their files and the DS212j also works with Apple TimeMachine for backing up. The server has a new enclosure design. Sony announced in Europe two new digital photo frames with WiFi connectivity, the S-Frame DPF-W700 and SF-Frame DPF-WA700. Both models have 8-inch 800×480 WVGA LED-backlit touchscreen display, 1GB internal memory that is enough for 4000 photos. With WiFi support, the frames can get photos from email or your friends’ Facebook uploads, and access hotos stored on your PC wirelessly. They can also display weather forecasts from AccuWeather.
The W700 and WA700 comes with card slots for SD/SDHC, Memory Stick Duo/PRO Duo, and USB port for connecting USB flash drive. The latter not only supports JPEG images, but also supports playback of MPG, AVI, MP4, MOV and MP3, ACC, WMA, LPCM media files. The WA700 also includes access to Internet radio. Netgear launches two new network attached storage systems (NAS), the ReadyNAS Duo v2 and ReadyNAS NV+ v2 fir home and small business users. The 2-bay Duo v2 and 4-bay NV+ v2 both include hot-swap disk drive bays and automatic capacity expansion. They also have USB 3.0 ports for faster backup and transfer rate. The ReadyNAS Duo v2 and ReadyNAS NV+ v2 are powered by 1.6GHz processor with 256MB of memory. They support 3.5-inch desktop hard drives and are available as diskless chassis or with up to 4TB of storage. The 21.5-inch oneTwo M and 23-inch oneTwo L both are powered by 2nd gen Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor with integrated graphics or optional NVIDIA GeForce GT530/GT520 or the AMD Radeon HD 6450 graphics card, and up to 8GB of RAM. The new oneTwo AIO PCs have 1080p Full HD LCD display and built-in 2.5-watt stereo speakers. You can find also up to 2TB hard drive, DVD burner or optional Blu-ray drive as well as 5-in-1 card reader.
