Freecom launches the Mobile Drive Sq, a portable USB 3.0 external hard drive. With a enclosure cover made of stainless steel, the drive is free from scratches and fingerprints, and the surface has been sandblasted to give it an exclusive look and feel. It is designed by Arman Emami and has got the 2012 iF product design award.
The 2.5-inch Mobile Drive Sq uses USB 3.0 interface to deliver enhanced transfer speed. It is available in 500GB and 1TB capacities. The 500GB model has a slimline design measuring 12 x 12 x 1.05 cm in 195g, while the 1TB model measures 12 x 12 x 1.3 cm and weighs 210g. Orange San Francisco 2 Budget Android Phone Posted: 28 Nov 2011 01:58 AM PST Orange UK releases the San Francisco 2, the follow-up to the San Francisco. The sequel is also made by ZTE and is also known as ZTE Crescent. It features a 3.5-inch 480×800 capacitive touchscreen, a 5 Megapixel camera, FM radio, and microSD/SDHC card slot.
The Crescent/San Francisco 2 supports Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS connectivity. It runs Android 2.3 OS on a Qualcomm 800MHz processor and 512MB of RAM. The phone has a 0.3 Megapixel front camera for video chat. The Orange San Francisco 2 is available in the UK for GBP 99 on pay as you go with a GBP 10 top-up. [CNET] Related Posts

Based on TN panel, the Dell P2312H has a high color gamut of 84% and a color depth of 16.7 million of color. It comes with a fully adjustable tilt, swivel, pivot stand with an improvded height adjustament range of 130mm. With Enhanced Menu Rotation software, you can rotate your screen from landscape to portrait, or vice versa, and then follow the on-screen prompt to position your on-screen content. Korean e-book company is launching in Korea its e-book reading device using Mirasol display. The e-book reader features a 5.7-inch Qualcomm Mirasol display that combines the strength of LCD and e-ink, making it able to display colors and be viewed in direct sunlight.
Kyobo’s eReader Mirasol reader features 1024×768 resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz Qualcomm SnapDragon S2 processor and runs a cutomized version of Android OS. The reader supports WiFi connectivity. [CNET] Related Posts

OCZ Technology releases the Octane series solid state drive powered by Indilinx Everest SSD controller. The line includes the SATA 3.0-based Octane and the SATA 2.0-based Octane-S2. The Octane series is boosed by Indilinx Everest platform with dual-core CPU and up to 512MB DRAM cache.
The 2.5-inch Octane offers up to 560MB/s read and 400MB/s write speeds with 45,000 random read 4K IOPS performance, while the Octane-S2 delivers 275MB/s read and 265MB/s write speeds and 30,000 random read 4K IOPS performance. They are available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB and 1TB capacities. Using Indilinx’s controller, the Octane series SSDs come with the NDurance technology, increasing the lifespan of the NAND flash memory, ensuring the most consistent and reliable performance as well as minimizing performance degradation even after the drive’s storage capacity is highly utilized. They also support AES and automatic encryption to secure critical data. Cricket launches the new ZTE Chorus, a music-oriented mobile phone with access to Muve Music service, and support for SRS WOW HD audio technology. The phone features 600MHz processing power, a 3.2-inch 400×240 resistive touchscreen, 2 Megapixel camera and a microSD/SDHC card slot. The Chorus supports Bluetooth and has integrated speakerphone. The 1000mAh Li-ion battery provides up to 200 hours of standby time and up to 250 minutes of talk time. The bar-type music phone supports tri-band CDMA EVDO network. Verizon Wireless is launching the Samsung Illusion, a mid-range Android smartphone. Boosted by a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, the phone is running Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS with Swype quick input technology. It comes with a 3.5-inch touchscreen, a 3 Megapixel camera, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi 802.11b/g/n connectivity. In addition to 2GB internal storage, the Illusion supports microSD/SDHC up to 32GB. It is equipped with 6-axis accelerometer with compass and includes Mobile Hotspot capability for sharing 3G connection to up to five WiFi-enabled devices. The Illusion is designed with the environment in mind with rear casing and battery cover made from 70 percent post-consumer material, front casing made from 35 percent post-consumer material.
