JVC Procision Series DLA-X90R, DLA-X70R and DLA-X30 4K Projectors Posted: 08 Dec 2011 05:27 AM PST JVC Procision Series DLA-X90R, DLA-X70R   JVC announced that it is now shipping its full 4K precision projectors, including the Procision Series DLA-X90R, DLA-X70R and DLA-X30 (which will also be marketed by JVC Professional Products Company as Reference Series DLA-RS65, DLA-RS55, DLA-RS45, respectively), and the Reference DLA-RS4800. All seven models are equipped with three 0.7″ 1920 x 1080 D-ILA devices and are designed around JVC's third generation D-ILA High Dynamic Range optical engine that is optimized to provide exceptional native contrast ratios without a dynamic iris to artificially enhance contrast specifications. They include 2D-to-3D converter, 3D broadcast compatibility, Cross Talk Canceller that reduces cross talk, and a parallax adjustment that allows the user to tailor the 3D image effect. Also included is JVC's 3D anamorphic feature, which combined with an optional anamorphic lens make it possible to enjoy 3D movies in the popular 2:35 scope format. They are also equipped with improved driver that keeps the shutter on the active shutter 3D glasses open longer, thus allowing more light to enter, while at the same time minimizing cross talk. JVC Procision DLA-X30 The DLA-X90R and DLA-RS65 feature 120,000:1 native contrast ratio. According to JVC, they are built using hand-selected, hand-tested components. Two pairs of 3D glasses and a PK-EM1 3D Signal Emitter are included. The DLA-X70R and DLA-RS55 offer 80,000:1 native contrast ratio while the DLA-X30 and DLA-RS45 have 50,000:1 native contrast ratio. The ISF certified DLA-RS4800 provides a 55,000:1 native contrast ratio, and comes with a spare lamp. The top four models (DLA-X90R/DLA-RS65, DLA-X70R/DLA-RS55) feature the JVC’s 4K e-Shift technology and are THX 3D certified. Using e-Shift, 2D HD content is upconverted and scaled to a 4K signal (3840 x 2160) and the e-Shift technology displays it at full 4K precision.  These four models have ISF certifcation and comes with enhanced installation adjustment, an upgraded optical engine that further improves black level and native contrast, 7-Axis Color Management System, ISF and THX Calibration as well as three Three Xenon lamp color modes that emulate the characteristics of high-end movie projectors. NEC NP-PX700W and NP-PX800W Professional Installation Projectors Posted: 08 Dec 2011 02:31 AM PST         NEC introduces two new professional installation projectors, the NP-PX700W and NP-PX800W designed for large auditoriums and venues requiring exceptional brightness, such as houses of worship, higher education, corporate and retail environments where there is high ambient light or the need for a larger screen size. Both projectors are based on 1-Chip DLP technology and comes with dual lamps that provide intense light output, with up to 2500 hours of lamp life.   The NP-PX700W and NP-PX800W delivers 1280×800 resolution and 1024×768 resolution, respectively, and both of them provide 2100:1 contrast ratio, up to 8000 lumens of brightness. The projectors is equipped with Integrated Device Technology HQV, a high-performance video processing and scaling system,for users to present with superior image quality using the technology’s pixel-based, motion-adaptive de-interlacing to remove undesirable motion artifacts. They have center lens design for ease in retrofitting existing installations and features lens memory that controls the lens attributes (zoom, focus, lens shift) based on input resolution and input selection.  You can also find cornerstone correction that helps display the image properly when the projector is set up at an angle to the screen, geometric correction that allows the projector to display square-looking images on cylindrical, spherical or cornered screens as well as edge blending technology, which creates panoramic images with multiple projectors.   NEC’s PX700W and PX800W include HDMI, DisplayPort, three analog computer inputs, composite and S-Video inputs, and have Open Pluggable Specification option slot, including an HD/SD SDI input card and SBC.
