Lexar JumpDrive S73 USB 3.0 Flash Drive Posted: 19 Jan 2012 09:41 PM PST Here’s another new USB 3.0 flash drive from Lexar, the JumpDrive S73. You may consider the S73 as the budget version of the Triton. Compare to the JumpDrive Triton, the S73 offers slower transfer rate at 45MB/s read and 20MB/s write via USB 3.0, which is still three times faster than using USB 2.0 interface. The JumpDrive S73 comes in four color capacity options, 8GB in blue, 16GB in purple, 32GB in orange, and 64GB in green. It uses retractable connector with convenient thumb slide and has a key ring loop so you can attach it to your keychain, computer bag, backpack…etc. Lexar will release the JumpDrive S73 in February. The exterior of the yellow notebook has got Glass Flake coating technology for enhanced durability and elegant glossy feeling. The Series 7 GAMER Yellow is powered by Intel Core i7 quad-core processor with 8GB of RAM and 1TB hard drive. It comes with a 17.3-inch large Full HD LED-backlit LCD display and a backlit keyboard. Epson PowerLite Pro Z-Series Installation Projector Line has 5 new models Posted: 19 Jan 2012 09:07 PM PST Epson adds to its PowerLite Pro Z-series projector line five new models, the Z8450WUNL, Z8455WUNL, Z8350WNL, Z8250NL and Z8255NL. These installation projectors are based on 3LCD, 3-chip technology and are designed for corporate, higher education, house of worship, rental and staging, museum, and digital signage applications. They all feature Edge Blending function that allows for consistent and smooth brightness and color when using more than one PowerLite Pro Z model side by side for staging, art galleries, digital signage, video walls, or command centers. The PowerLite Pro Z8450WUNL (White) and Z8455WUNL (Black) feature WUXGA 1920×1200 resolution and 7000 lumens. The Z8350WNL, available in white, provides WXGA 1280×768 resolution with 8500 lumens brightness, while the Z8250NL (White) and Z8255NL (Black) delivers XGA 1024×768 images with 10,000 lumens brightness. All five models have 5,000:1 contrast radio and include an liquid cooling system and a dual-lamp design for enhanced image quality and performance. The new PowerLite Pro Z-series models support 360° Projection, meaning projectors can be installed at any angle to meet a range of installation needs. DICOM Simulation Mode can be used to reproduce medical images, such as x-rays, for medical training and education, and the Super Resolution Technology can improve low resolution or blurry pictures of sharper images. They are equipped with Faroudja DCDi chipset to enhance video quality with deinterlacing, noise reduction and improving sharpness and new Gamma and RGB image adjustments are used for brightness and color tone adjustments. The Z8450WUNL and Z8455WUNL also come with Frame Interpolation to deliver sharper and smoother pictures during fast motion videos, such as sports and action movies. All the new PowerLite Pro Z-Series projectors provide two HDMI inputs and the WUXGA models offers also HD-SDI inputs for long distance high-definition live broadcasts up to 300 feet. Other features include Split Screen, internal memory to menu settings for up to 10 different scenarios, Epson Easy Management for easy network monitoring, maintenance scheduling via LAN, and six built-in test pattern to adjust image quality without video signals. They also have Crestron RoomView compatibility, messaging broadcasting, a centered lens design, LAN connectivity, a built-in closed captioning decoder, and six optional lenses, including a rear-projection lens, with horizontal and vertical lens shift. Lexar JumpDrive Triton USB 3.0 Flash Drive Posted: 19 Jan 2012 08:06 PM PST Lexar introduces its new JumpDrive Triton USB 3.0 flash drive that comes in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities. Using the SuperSpeed USB 3.0 interface, the Triton provides super-fast transfer rate at up to 155MB/s read and 150MB/s write speeds. According to Lexar, it taks just 35 seconds to copy a 4GB HD movie.

The rugged computer features performance-enhancing mechanical and thermal design, such customized copper conduits to enhance thermal dissipation efficiency, memory and storage stabilizers to withstand the challenges of high-vibration environments, and an anodized aluminum alloy chassis to prevent corrosion.
